Become a youth volunteer today.

MYNA NEEDS YOU!

MYNA would not be the same without our MYNA youth. But even more, MYNA would not be where it is today without those MYNA youth who have volunteered their time into building one of the largest nationwide networks for Muslim youth today. As a MYNA volunteer you become a part of a group of dedicated individuals who together are committed to growing the life changing experience for campers from all over North America that MYNA offers.

Youth volunteers, ages 12 - 18, have the opportunity to see MYNA behind the seens and the work that is put forth by their peers to make our camps and conferences so successful! MYNA volunteers come from all ages, states, and backgrounds, and contribute to making a difference in the lives of North American youth through many different roles!

If you are interested in volunteering with MYNA, fill out the application below or e-mail our Executive Committee secretary at secretary@myna.org!

  • *Closed* Regional Executive Committee

A MYNA Regional Executive Committee (REC) is a youth-led team that plans regional camps and events, grows MYNA’s presence locally, and keeps the spirit of MYNA alive year-round. Developed RECs are experienced and run mostly on their own, while developing RECs are newer and receive more support from national leadership.

  • Local Executive Committee

A Local Executive Committee (LEC) is a city-based team that works under a Regional Executive Committee (REC) to bring MYNA programming directly to local Muslim youth. The LEC plans and hosts consistent events within their area to strengthen community engagement, build awareness of MYNA, and support regional growth through on-the-ground outreach and presence.

  • *Closed* Spring Camp Committee

A MYNA Camp Committee is a short-term team formed 10 weeks before a regional Winter or Spring camp. Their sole focus is planning and executing that one camp from start to finish. The committee consists of five key roles: Chair, Program, Finance, Secretary, and Outreach. Together, they handle everything from scheduling workshops and managing the budget to registration, marketing, and onsite logistics—ensuring a smooth, meaningful, and impactful camp experience for all attendees.
