Why serve as an RA?
Residential advisors (RAs) will compose the MYNA mentoring team, one of the most critical components in shaping the MYNA Hira experience. By bringing your own strengths and skills to the table, MYNA relies on RAs to maintain an open, secure, and academic environment needed for educational and spiritual growth. RAs will be responsible to act as mentors for students to help them think out loud, provide advice, and guide them in the right direction to help each individual grow in their own way and as a community of young Muslim leaders. RAs are expected to be available for the duration of the program (July 7th - July 28, 2023) and must attend a mandatory on-site training (July 5 & 6th) before the start of Hira Intensive.
