If you don’t have a competitive advantage, don’t compete.
— Jake Welch

Rarely is one able to enter a competition with lackluster motivation and come out victorious. People who win almost always want to win, and it is the magnitude of this desire for victory that often separates the victors from the victims. We can apply this same logic to Ramadan, which can be seen as a competition between our faith and our egos. The only way we can win is if we approach this holy month with the attitude that we want to become closer to Allah. Only then can we capitalize on Ramadan’s infinite benefits.
