Show Don't Tell

Don’t tell people how much of the Quran you’ve memorized. Let them see the Quran in your actions. Feed the hungry, clothe the needy, be merciful to the orphans, forgive those who’ve mistreated you, and be good to your parents. It isn’t about how far you’ve reached in the Quran, but how far the Quran has reached in you.
— Anas Zubedy

Oftentimes, we let our egos get the better of ourselves. Our accomplishments override our sense of humility, and we degrade into the arrogant, boastful people Allah warns us against. Maintaining one’s humility is a truly daunting and difficult task, but it is certainly something we can all work towards, especially this Ramadan while Shaytan is locked up, his negative influence expunged.
