Chocolate Mug Cake

Sometimes you might just feel like having a slice of cake but do not want to go through the process of baking an entire one. Well, I have an easy solution for you! Mug cakes are single serving, fresh-tasting cakes that can be made literally in the matter of a couple of minutes. Here's one recipe for a chocolate one to get you started.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup flour

1/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/8 teaspoon baking soda

1/8 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons milk

2 tablespoons canola oil

1 tablespoon water

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions: Mix the flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large microwave-safe mug. Stir in milk, oil, water, and vanilla extract. Put it in the microwave until the cake is done in the middle. Depending on the power of your microwave, this takes about 1 minute and 45 seconds. Add any toping (like a scoop of ice cream) and enjoy!
