Reflection: Pacific Summer Camp 2018

Coming back from MYNA camp, I feel like a completely different person and I feel like I know more about my own religion and faith. Myna also allowed me to stretch a little further out of my comfort zone in the way that it let me try new things and make new friendships and gain a different insight on how I used to see things like religion or race. This theme in particular was really insightful, and I learned a lot about the women in the life of the Prophet (phuh) and how important they were! I also learned how much women are valued in Islam and how many rights they were given. I can say that MYNA has truly impacted my life and exeeded my expectations of what I had of the camp before, and I would definitely use all of the knowledge I learned from camp in my future.
