What Brings Me Back
I’m never able to pinpoint exactly why I’m so fascinated by camps enough to return so often. Do I come back because of the endless learning opportunities? Or is it recreational time that keeps me active? Could it be the endless friends I’ve made? The sense of family? Maybe it’s not one, but all. Looking back, I remember being sad when I learned I wouldn’t be attending a camp. The very next year, my excitement was reignited by the thought of seeing my family again. So while I may not know what it is that grabs my attention, like a scarf caught on a hook, I’m very grateful. Speaking from my heart, a MYNA camp is something I think everyone should experience if possible. Call it what you want, but I’m here to say it’s nothing short of extraordinary.
